Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the DoorWay Technologies, Inc. (DoorWay) services and platform (“Services”) and forms part of Doorway’s Terms of Service or equivalent agreement between DoorWay and you (“Agreement”). All capitalized terms not defined herein are as defined in DoorWay’s Terms of Service. Under this AUP, we reserve the right to take action if we see objectionable content that is inconsistent with the spirit of this policy, even if it’s something that is not forbidden by the letter of this policy.

You agree you will not:

  • In any manner violate any applicable federal, provincial, local, or international law or regulation including, without limitation, any laws regarding the export of data or software, patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property, legal rights (including the rights of publicity and privacy of others) or contain any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable laws or regulations or that otherwise may be in conflict with DoorWay’s Terms of Service  and Privacy Policy.
  • Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of DoorWay or others.
  • In any manner violate the terms of use of any third-party website that is linked from our website, including but not limited to, any third-party social media website.
  • Include or contain any material that is exploitive, obscene, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit or pornographic, violent, inflammatory, or discriminatory based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age or other such legally prohibited ground or be otherwise objectionable, such determination to be made in DoorWay’s sole discretion.
  • Using the Services to stalk, attempt to exploit or harm any individual (including minors) in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content or otherwise or ask for personal information as prohibited under applicable laws, regulations, or code.
  • Provide, or contribute any false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
  • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate the DoorWay, a DoorWay employee, another user, or any other person or entity (including, without limitation, by using email addresses or screen names associated with any of the foregoing).
  • Transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertisements or promotions without our prior written consent, sales, or encourage any other commercial activities, including, without limitation, any “spam”, “junk mail”, “chain letter”, contests, sweepstakes and other sales promotions, barter, or advertising or any other similar solicitation.
  • Attempt to access, interfere with, or connect to the Services and/or any computer without
  • Compromising the security or operation of our systems. This could include probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network that hosts our services. This prohibition does not apply to security assessments expressly permitted by DoorWay.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Frame, link to, or similarly display any portion of the Services within another service.
  • Sell or resell any portion of the Services.
  • Transmit any viruses, code, spam, and/or other content that disrupts, damages, or interferes with computers or related systems.
  • Using the Services to violate the privacy of others, including publishing or posting other people’s private and confidential information without their express permission, collecting or gathering other people’s personal information (including account names or information) from the Services, or inferring characteristics or personal information (including sensitive information) about other people using the Services.
  • Violate any terms that apply to the particular service.
  • Advocate, encourage, or assist anyone to do any of the above.

Doorway reserves the right to interpret the guidelines and take (or refrain from taking) action in its discretion. Without affecting any other remedies available to us, DoorWay may permanently or temporarily remove or disable access to unacceptable content or terminate or suspend a user’s account or access to the services, without notice or liability if Doorway (in its discretion) determines that a user has violated this Acceptable Use Policy. You agree to cooperate with us to investigate and remedy any violation. DoorWay reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pursue any and all other rights and remedies available under applicable law for violations of this AUP.

Modifications to this Acceptable Use Policy

This AUP may be updated from time to time, and in such case, a new version will be published on our website with a “last modified” date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes are made constitutes your consent to it.
