Pin doorway to your homescreen

Eliminate the need to search through text messages for links back to the dashboard. Follow these quick steps to pin the DoorWay dashboard to your home screen and enjoy immediate access with just one tap:

  1. Open Your Browser: Launch the browser you use most often (like Chrome).
  2. Navigate to the Website: Enter the URL of the website you want to add to your home screen.
  3. Tap the Menu: Look for the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen to open the menu.
  4. Add to Home Screen: Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
  5. Name the Shortcut: You’ll have the option to name the shortcut before adding it. Choose a name that you’ll recognize.
  6. Place the Shortcut: Tap ‘Add’ and the icon will appear on your home screen. You can hold and drag the icon to position it as desired.
  1. Open Safari: Safari is the default browser for iOS devices.
  2. Visit the Website: Type in the website’s address and let it load.
  3. Tap the Share Icon: Look for the icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.
  4. Add to Home Screen: Scroll through the options until you find “Add to Home Screen” and tap it.
  5. Name the Shortcut: After tapping, you’ll have the chance to rename the shortcut.
  6. Add the Shortcut: Tap ‘Add’ at the top right of the screen. The website icon will now appear on your home screen, where you can move it as needed by pressing and holding the icon.
  1. Open Your Browser: Launch the browser you typically use, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
  2. Navigate to the Website: Enter the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut for.
  3. Create the Shortcut: Right-click on an empty area of the webpage, and select “Create shortcut” from the context menu.
  4. Confirm the Shortcut: You’ll be prompted to confirm the creation of the shortcut. Click ‘Yes’ to add it to your desktop.
  5. Name and Place the Shortcut: The shortcut will appear on your desktop. You can rename it by right-clicking the icon and selecting “Rename.” Position it anywhere on your desktop by dragging it.
  1. Open Safari: Since Safari is the default browser for macOS devices, open it to create your shortcut.
  2. Visit the Website: Type in the website’s URL and let the page load.
  3. Drag the URL: Click and hold the URL in the address bar, then drag it to your desktop.
  4. Release to Create Shortcut: Release the mouse button, and the shortcut will appear on your desktop.
  5. Rename the Shortcut: If needed, click on the shortcut’s name to rename it for easier recognition.

After registering your email and creating your password, you will be asked to confirm your email.

After confirming your email, you will be asked to verify your account.

To register on our platform, you will be asked for the following credentials. Please record your mobile phone as an SMS message will be sent for confirmation.

After receiving a confirmation message via SMS, you will be asked to provide the confirmation number sent to your mobile device.

You're all set! Now, please enter your certified trade, specialty, or skills as a maintenance worker.

Certified Trade or Specialty – Only select the field in which you are certified. For example, if you are an electrician, only choose 'Electrical.'

Maintenance Worker or Handyman – This category encompasses a wide variety of basic repairs, general maintenance tasks, and physical labor. Please select all fields that match your specific skill set and daily activities.
  1. HVAC: Issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This can include systems not heating or cooling properly, strange noises, or odors coming from the HVAC units. 

  2. Plumbing: Problems like leaks, clogged drains, malfunctioning toilets, and issues with hot water systems often require urgent attention to prevent damage and maintain sanitary conditions. 

  3. Electrical: Faulty wiring, power outages, tripping circuit breakers, malfunctioning outlets, and lighting problems are common electrical issues that tenants report. These are critical as they can affect the safety and operational capability of the tenants. 

  4. Pest Control: Reports of pests such as rodents, insects, or birds can lead to maintenance tickets, as these issues not only create unsanitary conditions but can also affect the structural integrity of the building. 

  5. Security Systems: Problems with access controls, security cameras, and alarms. 

  6. Carpentry: fixing or installing cabinetry and shelving; handling structural repairs on wood-based fixtures and other building materials 

  7. Building Exterior: Any damage to the exterior facade, example brick, siding etc.  

  8. Appliance Repairs: Unlike in commercial spaces, residential maintenance tickets often include problems with in-unit appliances like refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers that are not working properly. 

  9. Cleaning: Report any required Janitorial services  

  10. Garbage and Recycling: overflowing waste bins, or the need for additional waste or recycling receptacles. 

  11. Snow Removal:  icy walkways, additional snow removal services. 

  12. Grounds Keeping & Parking Lot: debris removal, upkeep of paved surfaces, maintenance of walkways, sweeping, and line painting.  

  13. Lawn & Garden includes lawn maintenance, gardens & landscaping. 

  14. Roof: It includes concerns such as leaks, missing or damaged shingles, pooling water, blocked drainage, and structural damage, environmental factors like wind or heavy snow. 

  15. Elevator: Issues with the elevator malfunctioning. 

  16. Fire Safety: fire alarms or carbon monoxide detectors, expired or faulty fire extinguishers, blocked fire exits, non-functional emergency lighting, and issues with sprinkler systems. 

  17. Internet and Phone Services: internet or phone outages 

  18. Drywall: damage to walls, ceilings or ceiling tiles  

  19. Painting: any interior or exterior painting requirements 

  20. Locks & Doors: issues such as being locked out, malfunctioning locks, keys, or handles, and doors that do not open or close properly. It also includes damage to doors or handles. 

  21. Complaint: dissatisfaction with services, conditions, or disruptions within the building including noise, odours or any other complaint issue we need to be aware of. 

  22. Inspections: routine or scheduled inspections of the property.

If you're interested in receiving job opportunities outside your typical network or organization through our Marketplace, please select "Yes, I would."

If you would like to receive emergency requests that require immediate response, you can select “yes I am.”

Step #10

If you have the flexibility and means of attending to requests after normal business hours, please select "yes I am". Remember, you can always change your price when bidding for jobs.

Step #11

When receiving tickets for maintenance requests, we require your general rate. This rate can always be changed and can be altered when bidding for jobs in the future.

Step #12

In this section, you are required to submit your areas of operation. If you have the ability to receive and action maintenance requests outside your normal service area, DoorWay allows you to select multiple regions.

In this section, you are required to submit your professional credentials. Professional credentials will be validated once submitted.
